We took part on the MTB Dartmoor orienteering event in October and it was fantastic. Well organised, great bbq, great people, lots of laughs and banter. Not to mention the beautiful riding across Dartmoor. Will definitely be signing up to do this again. 5 🌟

I took part in the Dartmoor MTB Adventure event with my husband, on one of the wettest and windiest weekends we've had in months....but the weather didn't dampen any of our spirits. After navigating leg busting ascents, gnarly down hill tracks, carpet bogs, river crossings, thick peat and granite boulder filled tracks, the campsite camaraderie melted away any of the days woes. We met some truly awesome people, all like minded, full of fun and a passion for the outdoors. Roll on the next event.

We took part in the 2021 Christmas run ride event at Bellever forest. Had a great day out doing something a bit different. Organisation was great and food and mulled wine at the end was a big bonus. Looking forward to taking part in future events.

It was fun to chat to the other teams and I really felt like we were at someones home it was all so friendly and welcoming. I love the concept and the auction is a great idea to add some friendly competition. The whole event was great!

“I took part in the Devon Cycle event and I loved it. So much more than a standard sportive ride, where all you need to do is mash the peddles with the rest of the herd. The event tested fitness, resilience and cunning, with a mix of camping, riding, teamwork, navigation, planning and time keeping. A brilliant concept that was very well delivered. Oh, and did I mention the BBQ..... I would happily sign up for any future Wild & Remote events.”

‘I was asked if i wanted to take part in this event by a team mate and really wasn’t too sure what i was getting involved in. From start to finish I can honestly say I had one of the best weekends ever with Wild Remote exploring Dartmoor, working as a team, pushing myself and meeting some really cool like minded people. As someone with little map reading skills i would highly recommend this weekend as it really wasn’t hard to pick it all up quickly and the briefing was super helpful in telling us the skill we would need. If you’re secretly competitive like me and looking for something different then i would highly recommend Wild Remote! They’re hospitality was amazing and we were very well looked after. 5/5 would recommend to a friend.’

‘Wild & Remote organised a car navigation event for us in September. On arrival we were met with hot coffee and freshly baked pastry for a thorough briefing to include some basic map reading.
